When I met with my CFI on Monday, he had mentioned that there would be no training over the weekend due to the “Great Tennessee Air show” hosted at the Smyrna Airport. As a special treat, Kate took Rome and I (well, a few blocks from the show, but still with a great view) to the show. The weather was marginal when we arrived, but the sun came out and the skies cleared up in time for the main attraction, the F-15 demonstration. We all had a blast!
